Since 1990 Diverdi has been making Spanish-speaking music lovers’ oldest dream come true; we have provided them with the possibility of receiving up to date information, regardless of where they live, about the latest releases from the world’s principal independent record labels. And Diverdi has helped them to acquire these releases thanks to our ample distribution network which not only covers all specialised music stores in Spain but also delivers directly to our customers, worldwide.

Our first aim has been achieved thanks to our monthly CD information bulletin, a free publication which we send to our clients’ homes and which is also available in the most important specialised Spanish stores. Founded in 1992, our bulletin has now reached its 162nd edition. As far as distribution is concerned, Diverdi is currently an outstanding reference in the world of professional music, education centres and among the specialised music press.

Diverdi continues to strive to improve its service. With our new web page, Diverdi is breaking open new frontiers and offering its customers, wherever they are, the possibility of enjoying a rich and varied mine of music accumulated after almost fifteen years of transmitting knowledge and passion for music. With this web page Diverdi is offering its customers a highly agile tool providing a wealth of information, as well as maintaining a wide range of music for all music lovers.

The English version is gradually being introduced. For the time being only the section titles and descriptions, as well as everything concerning the purchasing process, have been translated. All releases added to our site (on top of the 5,000 titles already available) from April 2005 onwards will automatically include all information in English, but significant portions of the back catalogue will for some months still offer only Spanish information. On the other hand, we do not plan to translate our critics’ contributions into English for the moment. Despite these shortcomings we are working in the conviction that we are building Europe’s most important online source for independent classical music.
